Engineering the web presence for a fast-growing African & Caribbean food delivery platform.
Etnowe (pronounced 'Eat-Now') is a U.S.-based digital marketplace connecting customers to African and Caribbean grocery stores and restaurants with same-day delivery. The platform operates across Texas, Maryland, Georgia, and Indiana, serving the diaspora community with authentic food and ingredients. I built the full website using Next.js — a high-performance marketing site with lead generation forms, vendor onboarding flows, and SEO infrastructure designed to drive organic growth.

Building a fast, SEO-optimized platform that serves both customers and vendors.
Etnowe needed a website that spoke to two very different audiences simultaneously: customers looking for authentic African and Caribbean food, and store owners wanting to join the platform. The site had to load fast on mobile (their primary audience), handle form submissions reliably, rank well on Google for niche food delivery searches, and feel trustworthy enough to convert first-time visitors into app downloads and vendor signups.

Built the entire site with Next.js and server-side rendering for maximum SEO performance. Structured the architecture around two core user journeys: customers discovering the platform and vendors signing up to list their stores. Each journey has its own optimized landing flow with clear CTAs, trust signals, and frictionless form submission.
Implemented lead generation forms with validation, success states, and backend integration for capturing vendor applications and customer inquiries. The site was built mobile-first since the majority of Etnowe's users access it on their phones. Optimized Core Web Vitals across all pages, set up structured data for rich search results, and created a content structure that supports their scaling from 4 states to nationwide coverage.
